I do not think that is  a harmless joke. Because Robert can get into a lot of trouble whit the school and maybe even with the police because that is hacking into somebody else private network. Robert can get arrested because of a joke like that.

Some common reasons why teens hack is because maybe they want to do something bad or just get into peoples life's.

Some consequences is that the people that do that can go to jail for a long time or maybe they need to do community serves.

Hacking can never be ethical because you are not doing nothing right for anybody.
